UNCONVENTIONAL, FUNNY AND COLOURFUL ANIMAL
HATS
Knowing me and my work,
you already know how important colours are for me. I usually don't make a
chromatic plan beforehand (unless I want to create a gradient effect), I love
to add colours as I work, out of inspiration. Also, when crocheting hats
for kids, I like to come up with something totally eye-catching and out of the
ordinary, often with animals' details, and their reactions is always
enthusiastic. Considering all of the above, I must say I am always happy to
work on a new animal hat, when friends and customers ask me for one: I am sure
they will have fun with them.
MOTHERS ARE HAPPY, TOO!
What better idea to
convince our children to wear a hat against the winter colds than a funny
beanie that they will love and want to wear all the time, one in which they
look so adorable, too? These are the main reasons why this lovely headpiece is
appreciated by moms and kids alike: no more fights mornings on the way to
school! No more fear of tiny ears and necks not being properly covered! Children
feel cool and happy, because they actually have a toy on their heads and they
can play at being a masked hero; mothers feel safe and reassured, knowing their
little ones stay warm. And let's be honest: they look sooo cute in their animal
hats!

Although I didn’t
create my crochet animal hats for this purpose originally, Carnival is
approaching. Whether you’re in Rio, New Orleans, Venice, Köln, whether you call
it Carnevale, Fasching or Mardi Gras,
the most amusing holiday of the year is just around the corner. So why not add
